The NeurolabNL Startimpulse program ‘Optimal conditions for education and safety of youth’ (based on the Dutch National Research Agenda, NWA) includes four years of research on applications of neuroscientific knowledge in the education and the safety of youth. During the final symposium (hybrid event) on the 31st of January, researchers will celebrate the success of the program and give an overview of the current findings.
Interactive sessions for researchers and societal partners are organized to give room for networking and inspiration. In addition, their final communication product – in which all results are bundled together – will be presented to the mayor of Leiden Henri Lenferink, and children’s ombudswoman Margritte Kalverboer. The program will mainly be in Dutch, except for the keynote by Alexandra Cohen, from New York University. The symposium will take place at Naturalis and can also be attended online.
